Ladies of Soul Live at the Ziggo Dome 2018 I recently had the pleasure of attending Ladies of Soul Live at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. The concert was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves soul music. The line-up for the show included some of the biggest names in soul, including Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Etta James, and many more. Each artist brought their own unique style and energy to the stage, making for a truly memorable performance. One of my favorite moments was when Gladys Knight & the Pips performed their classic hit "I Heard It Through the Grapevine." The crowd went wild as they sang along and danced to the iconic song. Another standout moment was when Etta James closed out the show with her powerful rendition of "At Last." Her voice was absolutely incredible and it brought tears to my eyes. I was excited to listen to this album and see what it had in store for me. The first song on the album is "Ladies of Soul" by Gladys Knight & the Pips, which is a great choice as it sets the tone for the rest of the album. The third book in the series focuses on Maya's relationship with her boyfriend, Jack, who has been struggling with addiction for years. The story explores themes such as love, loss, and redemption, and it is a powerful read that will leave you emotionally charged. One of my favorite moments was when Maya confronts Jack about his addiction and tries to help him get clean. This scene was incredibly intense and it really showcased the strength of Maya's character. The music was also a huge part of the film and it added to the overall atmosphere of the story. One of my favorite moments was when Don and Maurice stop at a black-owned hotel and are turned away because they are white. This scene really showcased the racism that existed during this time period and it made me appreciate how far we have come as a society. Overall, Green Book was an incredible movie that I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about American history or just needs a good cry.
