The author does an excellent job of capturing the intensity and pressure that athletes face leading up to major competitions. I also appreciate how the author explores themes such as self-doubt and perseverance in this high-stakes environment. 6. The Cutting Edge - This novel follows a young woman who is forced to take on a new job after her previous one falls apart. ABC: Family Pack (Revenge Bridesmaids / Fake Fiance / Au Pair 3 / Cutting Edge / Handcuffs / and more) - This collection of novels features a variety of different romance stories, each with its own unique premise and characters. I appreciate how the author incorporates elements of humor and lightheartedness into some of the stories to balance out the intense drama in others. Overall, this is a great choice for readers who enjoy multiple genres within one collection. 8. If I Stay - This novel follows a young woman who survives a terrible accident but must confront her own mortality as she struggles to recover.
